Two is Better – U12 works out the next victories

On Saturday our U12 student team was a guest in Tübingen.

Two games – Two wins – the knot broke

On Sunday our U12 was a guest at the Herrenberg Wanderers.

At the beginning of the first game, in the first inning, Both teams were still together (2-1). Nils Dietze managed an offensive strike, who put our team in front with a nice line drive into the outfield and an in-the-park home run. By taking a 5-1 lead after the second inning, The concentration waned a little and the Mohawks let the Herrenbergers in Intermediate status of 5-5 balance.

The coaches urged concentration and the will to win.

In the fourth inning, our U12 showed reaction and impressed offensively and defensively. With 10-6 The U12 celebrated its second win of the season.

The second game started similarly to the first 2-1 after the first inning.

But in the following our students landed hit after hit, Run um Run**. The fans and parents who traveled with us literally pushed our boys to perform at their best.

The Wanderers couldn't counter our offense or defense in the second inning. The Mohawks deservedly went with it 8-1 in leadership.

The opponent tried to get close again in the third inning, but today there was nothing to be gained from the students. The team deservedly celebrated their first double-header success 12:4 Endstand.

**(Tim Hiller and Luki Gauss, je 5 Runs)

Student: Good performance, no reward

Last Sunday our students received the Royals 1 from Gammertingen.

At the beginning our boys set an example and played with concentration. They stayed level with the interim through the end of the second inning 4:4 Runs. Looking to make amends from the last day of play, the boys called at the end of the third inning 6:4 Runs in leadership. Unfortunately, our students could not keep their concentration up to the end, and gave away the win in the last inning. Endstand 6:9 Runs.

In the second game you could feel that the team wanted to attack again. A home run by Fabian Schüssler in the first inning that is well worth seeing made you want more! However, the air was from the third inning, in which the Royals brought in six points, out. Our Mohawks were demotivated by the intermediate results, as a consequence, that the second game also went to the opponent from Gammertingen. Endstand 3:13 Runs.
